- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing apart. Make an indent in each cookie for the caramel.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until golden around edges but still soft in center. Cool slightly before filling indents with caramel sauce.
- Melt chocolate chips until smooth and drizzle over cookies. Let set before serving.
