- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1 cup caramel bits
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in toffee bits and caramel bits evenly.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers set. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- For gooey caramel centers, slightly underbake the cookies.
- Store in an airtight container to keep soft and fresh.
- Cookie dough or baked cookies can be frozen for longer storage.
