  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in toffee bits and caramel bits evenly.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers set. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For gooey caramel centers, slightly underbake the cookies.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep soft and fresh.
