- 24 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
- 1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- Extra Oreo cookies for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread chopped Oreos evenly over the bottom of the dish.
- Whisk pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes, then pour over Oreos.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pudding layer and drizzle melted butter on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes until the top is set and slightly crisp. Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Top with whipped topping, mini chocolate chips, and extra Oreos if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Optional: Add extra Oreos or chocolate chips for garnish.
- Can serve warm or cold; store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
