Ingredients

2 cups white sugar

½ cup butter or margarine

½ cup milk

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 pinch salt

3 cups quick cooking oats

½ cup peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

1. Bring sugar, butter, milk, cocoa, and salt to a rolling boil for 2 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and stir in oats, peanut butter, and vanilla.

3. Mix quickly until combined.

4. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper or parchment.

5. Let cool completely until firm.
