Description

These no bake peanut butter oatmeal bars are chewy, sweet, and easy to make with just a few pantry staples. A wholesome treat for any day of the week.


Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup honey (use maple syrup for a vegan option)

1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional: pinch of salt, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or dried fruit


Instructions

1. Warm peanut butter and honey together over low heat.

2. Stir until smooth and remove from heat.

3. Mix in vanilla extract.

4. Add oats and stir until evenly coated.

5. Fold in any optional add-ins.

6. Press the mixture into a lined 8×8 pan.

7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

8. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
