- 2 pieces beef tenderloin filets, 2-inch thick
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1 package Béarnaise sauce mix or homemade
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives or fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Remove beef tenderloin from refrigerator 30 minutes before grilling.
- Preheat grill to medium-high, 350-375°F.
- Slice baguette at 45-degree angle into ½-inch thick pieces, brush with olive oil.
- Grill baguette slices 1-2 minutes per side until lightly toasted.
- Increase grill to high, 450-475°F. Season beef with salt and pepper and grill 3-5 minutes per side until internal temp reaches 125°F.
- Remove beef and rest for 10 minutes.
- Prepare Béarnaise sauce according to package instructions while beef rests.
- Layer sliced beef on toasted baguette, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with chives.
