Irresistible Cheesecake Brownies are a decadent delight that combines rich, fudgy brownies with a creamy cheesecake swirl.

  • Brownie Base: 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cheesecake Layer: 8 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Optional Additions: 1 cup chocolate chips, 1 cup nuts, 1/2 cup peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder and flour. Stir gently until combined.
  4. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour half of brownie batter into pan. Spoon cheesecake mixture on top, then remaining brownie batter. Swirl together with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Toothpick should come out slightly moist but not wet.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into 16 squares.
