- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Caramel Bits
- Sea Salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in vanilla extract, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and caramel bits.
- Drop dough onto prepared baking sheet using a cookie scoop, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Lightly sprinkle sea salt on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set.
- Cool on the baking sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a variation, try adding nuts or using dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
