Crust
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 9×9-inch pan with parchment or foil and spray with nonstick spray.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt for crust.
- Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, then mix in flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Press 2/3 of dough into pan for bottom layer.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla for filling; spread over crust.
- Crumble remaining dough on top of filling.
- Bake 40 minutes until cheesecake is set and cookie dough is golden.
- Cool completely and chill before slicing.
