- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Carefully twist apart 12 Oreo cookies, keeping halves with cream filling intact.
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Pipe or spoon onto cream-filled side of Oreo half, sandwich with other half, press gently, and freeze 30 minutes.
- Heat 2 inches of oil in deep pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk flour, egg, milk, melted butter, and baking powder until smooth.
- Dip each frozen stuffed Oreo into batter, allowing excess to drip off.
- Fry 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown, working in batches.
- Drain on paper towel-lined plate and dust with powdered sugar before serving warm.

- Freeze the stuffed Oreos before dipping for easier handling.
- Work in small batches while frying to avoid overcrowding.
- Optional: Serve with chocolate or caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
