Ingredients

  • 1 cup (207g) sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cups (448g) pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, whip egg white and vanilla until frothy.
  4. Add butter to egg whites and whisk until combined.
  5. Add pecans and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Add sugar mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  7. Spread pecans evenly on prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  9. Allow pecans to cool, then serve.
