- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add sugar and whisk. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
- Arrange halved strawberries over brownies.
- Heat chocolate chips and cream in microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth. Pour over strawberries.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour to set ganache. Lift out using parchment overhang and cut into squares.
Notes
- Can be made with or without strawberries for a delicious variation.
- Refrigerate or serve at room temperature.
