Caramel Crunch Tart is a decadent dessert featuring a buttery Oreo crust, a smooth caramel layer, and a crunchy chocolate-Rice Krispies topping, finished with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 20 Oreos
  • 5 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (12-oz.) jar caramel
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse Oreos until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a medium bowl and add melted butter; mix to combine.
  2. Press Oreo mixture into a 9″ tart pan evenly on the bottom and up the sides.
  3. Pour caramel over crust and smooth evenly. Refrigerate until cold, about 15 minutes.
  4. Microwave chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring until melted and smooth. Add Rice Krispies and stir to coat.
  5. Pour chocolate mixture over caramel and smooth evenly. Sprinkle with sea salt. Refrigerate until chocolate sets, at least 2 hours or overnight.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, use crisped rice cereal instead of Rice Krispies.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • For easy slicing, warm the knife under hot water and wipe between cuts.
