- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish large enough for the chicken breasts.
- Pat chicken dry, rub with olive oil, season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Optionally, sear chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
- Whisk together heavy cream, Parmesan, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and thyme until smooth.
- Place chicken in the baking dish and pour sauce over top.
- Cover with foil and bake 20–25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest 5 minutes, slice, and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, sear before baking and use freshly grated Parmesan. Adjust seasoning as desired.
